The 100,000 sq.ft. Westoba Credit Union Ltd. Agricultural Centre of Excellence features a show ring, stabling, wash racks, show office, and canteen all under one roof and connected to the main Keystone Centre facility. Opened in March 2006, it is the newest addition to the Keystone Centre.
The Centre includes approximately six acres of outdoor space for camping, large truck and trailer parking, and outdoor sand and grass equestrian show rings.
A 200' x 85' show ring features a clay and sand arena, complete with permanent seating for 700 spectators, judging stand, sound system, washrooms, excellent lighting, and easy access. Corridors adjacent to the show ring connect to a 150' x 65' practice ring and three stabling barns adequate to fit 158 stalls. The show ring can be used for trade show or other event space requiring a cement floor. The sand and clay can be easily removed and stored indoors, making way for a multitude of other events requiring wide open spaces.
There is easy access, controlled heating and lighting, along with two wash bays that can accommodate six animals each.
As versatility is the key to accommodating events of every imaginable activity and size, event spaces adjacent to the Agricultural Centre of Excellence (Canada Room, Exhibition Hall, City Square, and two NHL-size arenas) have all been designed to easily convert into space to accommodate animals.
The Centre offers all of the required amenities to make your event a success including onsite camping, canteen service, and full banquet and convention services (all fully licensed).
