Early 20th Century Tobacco Girl Cloth Advertising Banner chest 14" dia and 38" Lc. 1900s; J. C. Winter & Co. Red Lion, PA Antique painted cloth cigar advertising banner. This piece advertises Tobacco Girl cigars, a line of cigars from the long defunct J. C. Winter tobacco company near York, PA. The banner features cloth manufacture with a scalloped bottom and painted graphics and lettering in yellow and white. Exhibits minor signs of wear including small patches of textile loss and some paint chips. Very delicate. 8. 5" W x 15.
